Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The Physical Therapist will work with patients to help them recover from injuries, surgeries, and other medical conditions that affect their physical abilities. This role involves assessing patients' physical capabilities, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy to help them improve their strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct initial evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities, medical history, and treatment goals
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and techniques to help patients improve their strength, flexibility, and range of motion
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques they can use at home
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform hands-on therapy
