Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team. The RRT will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients with breathing disorders. This role requires strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate respiratory care treatments
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' response to treatments and adjust as needed
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field (preferred)
- Valid state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
