Job Title: Leadership Manager of Respiratory Therapy
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leadership Manager of Respiratory Therapy to oversee and manage the respiratory therapy department. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities and clinical expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality respiratory care services.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide leadership and direction to the respiratory therapy department.
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the provision of optimal respiratory care services.
3. Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the respiratory therapy department.
4. Supervise and evaluate respiratory therapy staff to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care outcomes.
6. Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for the respiratory therapy department.
7. Stay current with advances in respiratory therapy technology and best practices.
8. Provide training and education to respiratory therapy staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field (Masters preferred).
2. Licensed Respiratory Therapist with current CPR certification.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in respiratory therapy, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
4. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
5. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
7. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
