Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The RRT will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with respiratory disorders. The primary goal of the RRT is to provide quality care to patients with breathing difficulties and to improve their overall respiratory function.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing patients' respiratory status and developing individualized treatment plans
- Administering medications and therapeutic treatments to patients with respiratory disorders
- Monitoring and documenting patients' progress and response to treatments
- Educating patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Responding to emergencies and providing life-saving interventions as needed
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work demands
