Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team. The RRT will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with respiratory disorders. This individual will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement appropriate respiratory therapy plans for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform diagnostic tests to assess patients' respiratory function
- Administer medications and treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' reactions to treatment and make adjustments as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory disease management and prevention
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in respiratory therapy or equivalent
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- State licensure as a respiratory therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and techniques
