Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Summary:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide rehabilitation services to patients. Your main goal will be to help patients regain movement and manage pain through various therapeutic exercises and treatments.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients.

2. Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques.

3. Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.

4. Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises.

5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

6. Maintain a clean and organized therapy area.

7. Attend meetings and training sessions to stay current on best practices in physical therapy.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

2. State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow treatment plans accurately.

5. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients as needed.

6. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
