Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The RRT will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary issues. This individual will work closely with healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and educate patients on proper respiratory techniques.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and evaluate patient respiratory conditions
- Administer respiratory treatments and medications as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients on proper breathing techniques and respiratory care
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay current on advancements in respiratory therapy and best practices
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or related field
- Current state licensure
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
