Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Summary: As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will work with patients to help them improve their physical mobility and alleviate pain through therapeutic exercises and techniques. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each patient.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
2. Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
3. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
4. Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities to promote healing and prevent future injuries.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic care for patients.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
7. Stay current on advancements in physical therapy and incorporate new techniques into practice.
8. Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
2. State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
3. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to patient care.
7. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
8. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual therapy techniques.
9. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
10. Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
