Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments to help improve their overall movement and function. You will work closely with patients to create personalized treatment plans and provide hands-on therapy to help them recover from injuries or manage chronic conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct patient evaluations to assess movement, strength, and function.
2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and needs.
3. Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and manual techniques to improve patient outcomes.
4. Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercises to prevent future injuries.
5. Monitor and track patient progress throughout the course of treatment.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
7. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
8. Stay current on the latest research and techniques in physical therapy.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
2. State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
3. Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
7. CPR certification.
8. Knowledge of relevant medical and rehabilitation equipment.
