We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist – Oncology to join our cancer care team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments, ensure patient safety, and support oncology care plans in collaboration with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and medical physicists.
Administer radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
Operate linear accelerators, CT simulators, and other radiotherapy equipment with precision.
Verify treatment plans, patient positioning, and safety protocols before each session.
Educate patients about procedures, side effects, and treatment expectations with empathy and clarity.
Maintain accurate treatment records, documentation, and daily machine checks.
Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, physicists, and dosimetrists to ensure seamless patient care.
Monitor patient responses and report clinical changes or concerns promptly.
Follow all regulatory, safety, and quality guidelines, including ALARA principles.
Participate in departmental meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure a supportive, respectful, and comforting environment for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
ARRT (T) certification required (or equivalent based on region).
1–3+ years of clinical experience in Radiation Oncology preferred.
Strong knowledge of radiation safety, oncology protocols, and equipment operations.
Compassionate communication and excellent patient-care skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and fast-paced environment.
