Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The RRT will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with respiratory disorders, providing therapeutic interventions, and educating patients and their families on respiratory care techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and evaluate patients with respiratory disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy and aerosol medications
- Monitor and adjust patient responses to treatment
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay current on best practices and advancements in respiratory therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
- State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
