Job Title: Rehabilitation - Speech Language Pathologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. This individual will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide ongoing therapy to help patients improve their speech and language skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Provide therapy to patients to improve communication and swallowing skills
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Educate patients and their families on speech and language disorders and treatment options
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in a rehabilitation setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
